When the waves are calling…
Sea Shore of Sorrow
_________________________________________________________________________________
The scattered reflection
of the sun glistened over the gentle waves depicting the serene beauty of the
dawn break. Crabs crawled here and there. The early birds flocked together to
begin its day.
The sun rose slowly and
so did a feminine figure amidst the sandy terrain. It was a girl and not
a woman. A girl whose face seemed to be strong. Strong by struggle. A struggle
for existence. Her foot made strong imprints on sand, the sands of life. She came
there for a reason, a reason to live and to make others live. The biggest
decision of her life. She felt a fervent connect with the fiery waves. The
waves that communicated with her and only her...An emotional connect with the
seashore and it's waves. She always felt like being at home there.
Home is where family is.
Home is where the heart is. And so was it with that seashore. December 26, 2004
wasn't a day that could shade away easily from her memories. The day the sea
swallowed her entire family in the name of a factitious disaster 'Tsunami'.
Life wasn't easy for her from then... Yet she made all her important decisions
with the consent of her family... The family underneath the sea.
With the salty sprays,
she felt the sweet squabbles and everlasting memories with her brother...
With the tempestuous
waves, she felt the tender affection and love of her mother...
With the vigorous powers
unleashed when the breezy waves touched her feet, she felt the care and
aggression of her father...
You can't exactly tell
where the blue skies and blue seas begin and where it ends...
LIFE is no different...!
You can't tell where it
begins and where it ends...
The waves are always
calling...
